Please, meet my new duck – Shanti.
Shanti means quiet, peace and harmony.
It was the rare case when the image hasn’t changed from the moment of idea to the final creation. This time I used unconventional fur for teddy. Its basis is knitted, and therefore stretches and unstable, requires a special approach. But this “drawback” is more than compensated for by tactile sensations: very thick and tender. This fur is called - "Tenderness". The color is very realistic - gray-beige.
The head of Shanti is decorated with a turban-shaped dressing with crystal.
Shanti looks at the world with glass eyes, it is filled tightly with combination of sawdust and sherstepon (special wool based filler) . Its neck has wire frame inside, so you may slightly change position. Its head, wings and legs rotate 360° due to cotter pin and disk connection (5-way joined). Legs and beak are handmade from polymer clay.
Shanti’s total height is 16 cm (excluding headgear).
As with all my creations, Shanti comes to you with a special birth certificate of conformity of style and materials.
Laying on the linen napkin Shanti travels in cardboard box with paper filler.
